Welcoming Ceremony

Well after knowing the school, I start to go to school the next day, which is today (25th January 2018). I was very excited because this morning, i have a great welcoming ceremony by the school and i got a bunch of flower. It was very nice greeting.

I got my own desk in the office and after waiting for a while, i enter the first class with Kru Jen. This is Japanese language class, the class was active and they like to teach by me. The material in this class was conversation so we just talking a bit about Indonesia and they ask me about my life here and in Indonesia. Then I move to the other class, this is also Japanese class, the other Japanese class. They were learning reading text, it is about earthquake. This is related with newest news from Indonesia because there was an earthquake in Banten and the news also reported in Thiland. This class was conducted by the other teacher. He knows about Indonesia well and he also let the students know about Indonesia and some of tourism places in Indonesia.

            The last observation is in Mr Sunnny class. I observe this class in the last season so i just get the information from the last season until the end. In my observation, he was very good making the material, from giving mind map and analyzes the mind map one by one related to the material. Students learn by knowing the example first then going to knowing the material. In the end of the season, Mr Sunny give post-test to know about students’ knowledge after learning the material.

I open this second day (23rd January 2018) with foggy morning in the hotel then I have a breakfast in the lobby with my 18 friends from Indonesia and Philippines. This in a great opening because we know each other and they are my new friends but feels like they are my old friends because we are very close. After we have breakfast, we went to the campus to get orientation from CRRU, before that there was an opening ceremony to welcoming us as a part of student in CRRU by this program. It was a pleasure and luck for us because we have already being the part of the other university in Thailand. The orientation season opened with a great delivery by Mr T-Rawat and he told us a lot about CRRU. And he also tells about Muslim community in this country we were very excited about this because we need to keep halal food. I.           General Information and Academic Administration of Mengrai Maharajwitthayakhom School A.     School Profile Mengrai Maharajwitthayakhom School was declared Ministry of Education On Tuesday, January 9, 1980, the third high school of Chiang Rai district. The school is located at 113 Moo 3, Tambon Nanglae, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Rai. It is 11 kilometers from Chiang Rai city.  The school has been teaching since 1980. There are 4 classrooms, 175 students, 9 teachers, and Mr. Prasert Suwannajit is the first director. Later in the academic year 2530 was approved to open high school.
