  DESCRIPTIVE TEXT Descriptive Text  adalah bentuk teks yang berisi gambaran tentang suatu objek . Dalam bahasa Inggrisnya, dipahami bahwa  Descriptive Text is a text that contain the description of an object, which is an animal, place, people, thing, etc . Tujuan dari  Descriptive Text  adalah mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan suatu objek khusus.  Communicative purpose of descriptive text is to describe particular thing . Struktur Descriptive Text (Generic Structure) -           Identification  (identifikasi) adalah pendahuluan, berupa gambaran umum tentang suatu topik. -           Description  (deskripsi) adalah berisi ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan. I.           General Information and Academic Administration of Mengrai Maharajwitthayakhom School A.     School Profile Mengrai Maharajwitthayakhom School was declared Ministry of Education On Tuesday, January 9, 1980, the third high school of Chiang Rai district. The school is located at 113 Moo 3, Tambon Nanglae, Amphoe Mueang, Chiang Rai. It is 11 kilometers from Chiang Rai city.  The school has been teaching since 1980. There are 4 classrooms, 175 students, 9 teachers, and Mr. Prasert Suwannajit is the first director. Later in the academic year 2530 was approved to open high school. B.      Academic Support System This school has 3 main buildings, 1 multi-purpose building , 2 workshops, 1 canteen, 1 auditorium , 1 library, 1 guard house , 5 teacher’s houses, 2 janitor’s houses, 5 water closets, 5 sports fields, and 1 student’s garage. There are 170 computers, 1 external telephone, 1 fax machine, 50 televisions, 25 VCDs, 21 printers, 7 overhead projectors , 4 cars. C.

Open House Event (School Aniversary)

15 February 2018 Finally Open House!! It’s like an anniversary celebration so the school is celebrating their anniversary. It was really good! The performance s , the decoration s and lot of things. This event was opened in the hall then the outside of the hall is the boots. Every department shows their games, their performance and the food that sold in the boot. It was very interesting!! There are  English,  M ath, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and many more. They sale foods, candies, drink and many more. Not only that, they also give some games that related with their major. In English major they provide Bingo Games and Bottle Game. It was really fun because they got gift after plating games. (Before opening ceremony with the member of Governor) (Chinese Performance) (With Thai dancers) (In front Of English Boot with Kru Bew) I wear my traditional clothes here and the teacher was very happy seeing that. English Camp

10th February 2018. This is a day with foreigners and they teach English to Thai students. They come from US to share knowledge. They are in an English Camp project. It is the Project of an organization in US to teach English in every countries. The way they teach is different from teaching in the class. They use game to teach English. The students were exited about that. Start from guessing someone and trying to speak English by asking and questioning session. (first game, guessing someone) All the foreigners were young. They come from different countries and they were really kind to the students. They were really patient in teaching English. (Here students try to make product, they write their brochure by themselves. Their Writing skill was improved in this session. ) (Trainers give students text. Students should read it aloud and after that the trainers ask difficult words that they found. it trains reading skill of the students.) This event was really good b

Helping "Open House" Preparation

8th February 2018  Today the school is free because the students have a scout camp. I just talking a bit with Kru Ammy about my report. I ask her some information about the assessment and the way the teacher set the class. Then I help the students who prepare for open house. It was really fun because I help them coloring something for "Open House". They were really kind and let me to help them. We work together in coloring the things. I really like to help them even my hand was full of dye and my skirt was dirty because of it bu I was really happy. I help them while I teach them to speak English. I ask them several question in English and they answer it. By this way, I teach them to speak English. (student's preparation for Open House)

Teaching Classes

7th February 2018 This day I taught again with the same lesson plan as before to the other class. This class are really different than before, I thought its better than before because the class is more active. I taught 3 classes today and all of the classes are active in the class. They got my objective until the end and I love that. It means that I can took the class well and I can teach well :))) They were really active asking question related with the material even some of them feeling difficult in doing the task but I let them to work in group so they can help each other. It really work, they help each other to finish the tasks. When I ask them to read the text aloud they do that really good. I revise their mistakes to make them better. Well done for these classes!! Scoring Day

6th February 2018 This day is my scoring teaching day. So I will be scored, the way I teach and the way i conduct the class will scored by my Mentor, Kru Amy. Before I teach in the class, I print all of my things that related to my teaching practicum before the learning process begins. I print it out in the school, the second floor office. Here all of t he stuff are really complete. I do not go to somewhere to just print it or getting something, this school provides a lot of thing that can use to everybody in the school. It helps me a lot. Then after printing my stuff s, I met CRRU’s coordinator. I tell all my condition and the way I assist in the class room. Then I gave them my lesson plan so they can check it. They not gave me any comment, all good said Ms Nok. I really happy because I dont have to correct it before I teach.
